Terms and conditions

Mukova is run by Transidic Startup Studio (Pvt) Ltd. It matches people who need a service with service providers the Mukova team has approved.

These terms cover both sides of Mukova: clients, who submit requests, and providers, who list their services. By submitting a request or joining as a provider, you agree to them.

1. Clients looking for a service

You are a client when you submit a request on Mukova, with or without an account.

  1. An AI system reads your request to work out the trade, the service and the place, so Mukova can match you with approved providers who fit. Mukova may ask you one or two questions to sharpen the matches.
  2. Mukova only makes the match. It is not a party to any quote, agreement, work or payment between you and a provider.
  3. Seeing your matches is free. Unlocking them costs US$1 per request, paid through Paynow by EcoCash, card or another wallet that Paynow accepts.
  4. The US$1 unlocks the names and contact details of up to three providers matched to that request, each with a Mukova reference.
  5. The US$1 covers the matching and the unlock only. What a provider charges for the work is agreed directly between you and the provider.
  6. A match does not guarantee that a provider is available, takes the job or delivers a particular result. Check that a provider is right for the job before you hire them.
  7. Use the contact details you unlock only to talk to that provider about your request.

2. Service providers

You are a provider when you join Mukova to list your services.

  1. Listing costs US$10 a month, or US$20 for a company, paid through Paynow by EcoCash, card or another wallet that Paynow accepts. Each paid month keeps your profile in the matches, and you can stop renewing at any time.
  2. The Mukova team reviews every profile. It approves a profile or turns it down with a reason, and it may remove a profile that breaks these terms.
  3. You keep your profile accurate and up to date, including your services, experience, location and any documents you upload.
  4. An AI system compares your profile with client requests. Your profile may appear as a match with your name and contact details hidden.
  5. When a client unlocks you, Mukova shows them your name and contact details, including your WhatsApp number, with a Mukova reference.
  6. Listing does not guarantee requests, leads, work or income.
  7. You agree the price and terms of any work directly with the client. Mukova is not a party to that agreement.

3. General terms and your data

Mukova handles personal information in line with the principles of Zimbabwe's Cyber and Data Protection Act [Chapter 12:07]: informed consent, lawful processing, purpose limitation, transparency, accountability, security safeguards and protection of personal information.

  1. Using Mukova is voluntary and based on your informed consent.
  2. Transidic Startup Studio (Pvt) Ltd uses the information you give, such as requests, profiles and contact details, only for matching, payments, running Mukova and improving its matching.
  3. Transidic Startup Studio (Pvt) Ltd takes reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information and to show it only where these terms say.
  4. Your information may be stored and processed on secure cloud services, including the AI services that read requests and profiles.
  5. Those AI services may also read the messages you send to Mukova on WhatsApp, with phone numbers, email addresses and links taken out first, so the chat can answer what its menus can't.
  6. Mukova deletes your WhatsApp messages after 90 days, and keeps only parts of chats, with phone numbers, email addresses, links and names taken out, to check and improve the chat's answers.
  7. You may ask for your information to be corrected or updated. Providers can also change their own profile from their dashboard.
  8. You may withdraw from Mukova at any time by telling Transidic Startup Studio (Pvt) Ltd. It then stops processing your information for Mukova, except what it must keep for legal obligations, payment records, disputes or security.
  9. Withdrawing does not refund payments already made or end obligations that continue by their nature.
  10. Prices are in US dollars and payments go through Paynow. Prices may change. The price shown before you pay is the one that applies.
  11. These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows the last change.
